Philip Anthon
Chairman

Philip was appointed Chairman of the Board of FIIG Holdings Limited (“FHL”) in August 2021. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Bachelor of Laws. Philip brings with him a wealth of experience in governance, risk management and compliance both as a senior executive and more recently a consultant. Philip’s significant senior executive experience includes ten years within the Wealth Management Division of Suncorp Group where he held the role of Head of Governance and Risk. He consults extensively, providing expertise on the assessment and implementation of governance and risk frameworks to support regulatory compliance, business outcomes and customer focus. Organisations Philip has worked with include Breast Screen Queensland, Metro South Health and Hospital Service, Industry Super Schemes, Opus Capital Limited and Centric Wealth Management Limited.

 Philip has a passion for working with corporations that operate in highly regulated and highly specialised markets, advising on the hallmarks required for the creation of effective governance, risk management and compliance strategies and frameworks.

Jim Stening

Jim was the Managing Director of FIIG Holdings Limited (“FHL”) from 23 May 2018 to 31 July 2022. Jim is also the founder of FIIG Securities Limited (“FSL”) and held the role of FSL Managing Director from inception to 31 July 2022 (excluding the period between September 2012 and January 2017, where he held a Non Executive Director position). Jim is currently a Non-Executive Director of FHL and FSL.
 Jim has extensive knowledge of fixed income, cash and derivative markets fostered by more than 35 years of experience in financial markets, interest rate product development and international fixed income trading including, prior to founding FSL in 1998, senior roles with firms including Merrill Lynch, Banco Santander (Singapore) and National Australia Bank.

Jim is currently Non Executive Director of Queensland Treasury Corporation (QTC) and Chairman of Funding and Markets Committee for QTC Board. He is also a Director of FIIG Securities Limited and FIIG Investment Management Limited. Jim is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Diploma of Financial Services.

Douglas has been a Non-Executive Director of FIIG Holdings Limited (“FHL”) since establishment on 23 May 2018 and of FIIG Securities Limited (“FSL”) since November 2000 and closely involved with the development of the FIIG Group and its businesses over the past 19 years. He practised as a Barrister and has experience as a legal practitioner from 1986 to 2009 in London, Hong Kong and Brisbane, primarily in financial services, corporate and commercial law.

Douglas is also a Director of FIIG Securities Limited, FIIG International Holdings Limited, FIIG International Limited and FIIG Investment Management Limited. He has a Bachelor of Laws, a Master of Laws and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
