Mark Bayley

Mark Bayley
Head of Credit Strategy & Research

Mark is a senior credit and fixed income specialist with 20 years of experience in global financial markets.  He is a highly knowledgeable strategist covering global and domestic financial markets from a credit intensive perspective.  Mark’s most recent role was at Aquasia, where he analysed single name corporate credits and provided a macro strategy overview for the Credit Fund.  Prior to Aquasia, Mark was Director, Credit & Structuring at ABN AMRO, where he covered global and domestic credit markets from a strategy/research, trading desk and sales perspective. 

Prior to joining ABN AMRO, Mark spent nearly seven years at JPMorgan in London. Mark has won several awards that recognise his research.  These include various Insto Magazine, CFO Magazine, Credit Magazine and Institutional Investor.  Mark is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.  He holds a Diploma in Management Studies from the Judge Business School, Cambridge, and a MA Honours Degree in Economics from Downing College, Cambridge University.

Elizabeth Moran

Elizabeth Moran
Director - Education and Research

Elizabeth is considered an expert in the fixed income asset class and is a regular contributor to The Australian. She frequently writes for and is quoted in other press.

Elizabeth has been with FIIG for nine years and for much of that time has been a corporate and bank analyst. In recent years her passion for education has seen her role shift, to author/edit FIIG’s “The Australian Guide to Fixed Income” and an online fixed income course for Financial Advisors. She continues to edit FIIG’s weekly newsletter, “The WIRE”.

In her role as Director of Education, Elizabeth has delivered presentations at conferences across Australia including Morningstar, Eureka Report, The Australian Shareholders Association and the ASX.

Will Arnold

William Arnold
Corporate & Fixed Income Research

Will joined FIIG Securities in October 2014 and is responsible for corporate research. Will has over 15 years’ experience in credit and fixed income markets, including 6 in London, working at fund managers, banks and government treasury.

Past roles include: Fixed Income Analyst at Ignis Asset Management focusing on the management of the world’s second largest and top performing money market fund, European Banks Analyst with NabCapital managing some of the group’s largest credit risk exposures and Senior Credit Risk Advisor at Queensland Treasury Corporation.  Will started his career with NAB and worked in various corporate finance and institutional banking roles with the group.

Will has a Bachelor of Business (Com), holds an Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is completing a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
