Chairman

Douglas has been Chairman of FIIG Securities Limited since November 2000 and Executive Chairman since assuming a full time role with FIIG in July 2009. 

Douglas is a Barrister and has over 25 years’ experience as a legal practitioner in London, Hong Kong and Brisbane primarily practicing in financial services, corporate and commercial law. 

Douglas has a Bachelor of Laws, a Master of Laws and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Douglas is a member of the Nominations and Remuneration and Audit, Risk and Compliance Committees.

Jim Stening

Jim founded FIIG Securities Limited in 1998 and is currently the Managing Director.

With more than 30 years’ experience in financial markets, interest rate product development and international fixed income trading, with firms including Merrill Lynch, Banco Santander (Singapore) and National Australia Bank. Jim has extensive knowledge of fixed income, cash and derivative markets. He is a Non-Executive Director of Queensland Treasury Corporation, where he is Chairman of the Funding and Markets Committee and is also Chairman of Ozfish Unlimited Ltd.

Jim is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Diploma of Financial Services. 


Adam Lewis

Adam Lewis is an alumnus of McKinsey & Company, where he spent 20 years as an advisor to major firms and governments in Australia & New Zealand, Asia, Europe and North America. 

At McKinsey, Adam was a partner for 14 years, Director (senior partner) for 9, and managing partner Australia & New Zealand for 7 years and was a member of McKinsey’s Asia council, and global Director election committees.

Since leaving McKinsey in 2010, Adam has become Chairman of Aconex Limited (ASX: ACX); Chairman of Southern Innovation; a high-tech company based in Australia and Chairman of Swatchmate Pty Ltd, a colour technology start-up. 

Adam is also Chairman of Cast Professional Services which provides flexible consulting resources for corporations in need of short-term or project expertise and is also on the advisory Board of The Smith Family and the Public Policy Committee of the Grattan Institute.

Adam is Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

Christine Feldmanis - Non-Executive Director

Christine has more than 30 years of experience in the financial arena, spanning both the private and government sectors.  She has extensive experience in investment management, finance, accounting and risk management, legal and regulatory compliance, governance and business building, in both listed and unlisted financial markets products.

Christine formerly held senior executive roles as CFO at NSW TCorp and Managing Director at Treasury Group Investment Services Ltd delivering strategic, product, operations and advisory business solutions.

Christine is currently a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee of Perpetual Equities Investment Company Ltd (ASX:PIC) and Hunter Water Corporation, Chair of Bell Asset Management Ltd and a Non-Executive director of Uniting Financial Services Ltd where she is a member of the investment, audit and risk committees.

Christine is the Chairman of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee and a member of the Nominations and Remuneration Committee.

Stephen Knight - Non-Executive Director

Steve is a successful and respected professional within the Australian finance industry, with extensive achievements across private sector and public sector financial institutions.  His executive roles covered financial markets, banking, funds management and government finance for over 35 years.

Steve was CEO of NSW Treasury Corporation (TCorp) for 10 years until 2015.  Under Steve’s stewardship TCorp generated strong financial results for the NSW Government, managing the borrowing needs of a $75bn balance sheet, and a funds management business that grew from $6bn to over $70bn.  His previous roles included Head of Treasury and Capital Markets for UBS Australia, and Executive Treasurer - Global Treasury for ANZ Banking Group.

Steve’s current non-executive and advisory roles include financial services (OneVue Group ASX:OVH), government finance (Australian Office of Financial Management - AOFM), industry advocacy (Sydney Financial Forum), and not-for-profit (Primary Ethics).  He recently chaired the Commonwealth Government’s Affordable Housing Implementation Taskforce.

Stephen is a member of of the Audit, Risk and Compliance and the Nominations and Remuneration Committees.
